I've been consistently purchasing the Rubix coffee beans via you guys.
I do sense that the quality of beans that we receive are rather inconsistent (tastes different every batch).
Am not too fussed if it's a +/- thing, but the quality has been deteriorating (one way down!) over the last couple of deliveries.
I have moved on to a couple of other vendors to try their beans out for now, but I do hope the inconsistency can be worked on, if I do end up re-ordering the Rubix via you guys.

I like it, not bad, a little to acidic for my liking. Adjusted the grind size to be slightly finer on my espresso machine, and the acidity was minimized, and the chocolatey after taste shines through. Pairs well with milk. I'll circle back after I've tasted other beans here.

Hi, I ordered the beans in 6/6/2020.
And now it’s 18/6 it’s almost two weeks I haven’t receive my parcel yet. I’m so disappointed with the services. I’m a frequent buyer but this time the delivery takes way too long as I expect. I’m sure the beans wasn’t that fresh anymore. I would like to request a refund so I could get a new pack of fresh beans

I have tried every bag under the Espresso category of Beanshipper, and this is by far the worst Espresso I've tried. Regardless of grind size and extraction time, there is always a sour spoilt yogurt aftertaste. While it is true there is a lot of complexity in a cup with good body and that chocolatey nodes, the aftertaste just spoils it. Maybe I've just gotten a bad batch, who knows.
Makes an amazingly bright and vibrant v60 though, but since it's sold as an Espresso blend I couldn't help but hate it.

I made 6 cups in a row which comprised of latte, Americano, short black, espresso and all tasted great. Rich coffee taste without the "bad" bitterness and the after taste of spiciness really made a huge difference in the mouth.
In short, this is good sh*t (pardon my language lol)!

Brewed using a pump espresso machine, took me a few attempts to get the full range of aroma and taste stated above but this is more to my skills not the beans. Highly recommended for those who love their coffee that is packed with an assortment of taste, for those who love a strong and bold cup of black coffee with a single taste (like me) then this blend will require some getting use to. However, it did won me over and provide a wonderful alternative.
If i can offer an advice to brewers who love milk in their coffee, get the brand Bright Cow for the best results. It is a local brand that provides unpasteurised and unhomogenised fresh milk. It does not interrupt the harmony of this beans and when steamed/foamed to make cappuccino or macchiato, the smoothness of the milk presents itself and allows the coffee to punch through.

It took me a few cups to get it right and to hit on the notes. I found it to be quite a challenge to get one good cup. Personally, I think the complexity of the blend and roasting style is not to my liking.

wow you know, at first i can't tell the difference between RUBIX, PURVEYOR and SIDAMO MORMORA but then i decided to make all three of them at once. And my least expected would be my fav (based on the notes given) becomes my most fav one. i keep drinking and grinding and drink again. lol. and most of the times i can't sleep but it's fine. i'll do anything to get a cup of my fav coffee now. and i'll definitely buy it again..and my fav will be the one and only, RUBIX.
p/s: if you add milk, it will taste superb, but i like it as it is. black.

Coming from my usual staple of Shipper's Blend, as an espresso, this has a less roasty (lighter dark chocolate) tasting note, which somehow brings out its slight acidity. No matter how much you screw up the extraction, it's not bitter at all, so I think it's great for people who are new to espressos.
However, it blonds a tad earlier than the usual stuff I brew, no matter how fine I grind it, till the point the hardness of the beans actually choked my grinder to a halt. Maybe it demands a better grinder than what I currently have.
I think it's great when brewed as a ristretto, makes great café latté that tastes exactly as what the label says. Don't fancy too roasty and bitter flavor? Give this one a try.Lance

This is a very medium bodied and little/low acidity coffee well balanced especially with milk. did a pour over with it, sometimes you hit (Clear matching tasting notes) sometimes u miss!(Sour and muddy)! i blame this on my skills on pour over variables!!
