Like single origin coffee beans, the single origin chocolate bar is made of cocoa beans from a single cocoa farm to exhibit its unique flavour characteristics. Lemuel Chocolate made the chocolate bar with only cocoa beans & organic cane sugar, no nasty additives & chemicals. The cleanest & purest chocolate bar!

Cocoa plant is found in almost all areas of West Sumatra Province so the area and production of cocoa in West Sumatra increased significantly. The total land area of cocoa in West Sumatera in 2015 reached 155,994 ha or 10% of the total land area in Indonesia with a production share of 52,917 Ton

The cocoa of West Sumatra is still exported in the form of dry cocoa beans due to the lack of cocoa industry; therefore the development of the cocoa processing industry needs to be held in order to increase the added value of cocoa, strengthen the cocoa industry, and employ the job seeker. Besides, the industrialization of cocoa commodities that have the potential to be exported can increase the competitiveness in spurring national economic growth and increasing the income of farmers.

Just like the Sumatran coffee, this chocolate bar has a rich cocoa note, paired with hints of tropical fruit in the aftertaste.

All chocolate bars are tempered chocolate & individually wrapped with an additional protective layer, hence it does not melt easily and is safe to ship. We recommend leaving the chocolate bar aside overnight at room temperature once you receive it and the chocolate bar will be perfect to consume the next day.
