The Story

Artisan Roast dates back to 2010 when we humbly began as the first specialty coffee roasters in Malaysia. And despite the general unfamiliarity in with syrupy espresso, we managed many palates and hence, develop the taste buds of a growing fan base.

We started off with the first cafe at Jalan Ampang before moving, shortly after, to 'home' in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Word of mouth soon spread throughout this small residential community and much further afield. Coffee connoisseurs willingly travelled the distance just to enjoy our great coffee. And thanks to their wonderful support as well as enthusiasm, Artisan Roast is now one of the busiest cafes in the business.

By 2014, an opportunity came our way to expand and upgrade our coffee roasting facilities. The Loring Smart Roaster which we're proud of was thus housed in our Three Little Birds cafe while Artisan Roast, name unchanged, remains the icon that it is in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

Over the years, we've never stopped pushing boundaries and continue striving to serve aficionados — many of whom become firm friends — with our latest roasting and preparation discoveries. We hope to match their passion for the brew and be among the leading specialty coffee purveyor in Malaysia.
