Woreda Konga is a small area in Gedeo, southern Ethiopia. It is about 4 kilometers south of the town of Yegacheffe. Well-known within the jurisdiction of Gedeo. The higher ones are Yejiashefei and Kochere. Nearby are Worka, Konga, Well-known villages such as Biloya and Harfusa.
More than 600 small coffee farmers formed this coffee together. Many of these small coffee farmers are A member of the Worka Cooperative, the coffee batches produced have always been amazing performance. Carefully selected fully ripened coffee cherries, sun-dried on a raised beds. Carefully pick out defective beans in the process, improve the cleanliness and consistency of flavor, and ensure every output. The batches are of the best quality.
This batch of washed coffee is from a large collection of 600 small coffee farmers. Individually, the coffee farming area of these small farmers is about 1 hectare on average, and the planting altitude. The height is about 1,800 to 2,200 meters. The coffee varieties are mainly traditional ancient and local native species (Heirloom). The annual rainfall in this small area is 2000mm, 3~4 months is the dry season, 8~9 months is the rainy season, The soil is red composite color 5.2-6.2 PH coffee small farmers select and grade coffee of red cherry colour.
This coffee makes a juicy and refreshing cuppa, with loads of zesty citrusy aromatics and a sparkling texture of blood orange, paired with a floral sweet finish.
