Quite the potent brew with a strong, rich aftertaste, if that's your bag. Tastes fine but would personally recommend brewing at a lower temperature to reduce the intensity.

There are quite a bit of defected beans in the bags. Understand that farming product cannot get away from insect damage but seems the irregularities is higher compare to other bean bought before. The flavour just average. Citrus note is there, however nothing really stand out.

一收到豆子便做了冷萃 (粉水1:15) ，風味并不明顯但入口順滑，茶感，餘韻微甘。我習慣將咖啡包取出讓它慢慢滴出剩下咖啡，發覺甘味明顯突出帶橘子酸。這時想起建議沖煮比例是1:12.
跟着我就用上建議沖煮方法沖了杯熱飲，今次所有風味都能呈現出來。很喜歡，下次要試試Liberica 其他風味豆子。

The cup was great tasting, super clean, easy to dial-in. Taste-wise, rather light. It's my first time with liberica beans and man was I surprised how big the beans were! Haha. But highly recommended, I've already bought like... twice.

After hearing so much about these beans, finally got myself a bag and I'm a happy man. Exactly like it says in the description : nutty, licorice and EXTREMELY clean tasting.
Within the first sip, you get introduced to the body this coffee offers. I was expecting an almost ashy taste because of the way the coffee tasted on my tongue, but upon consuming the distinct nuttiness from the bean hits you helped along with the "cleanliness". Acidity is almost non existent, if any at all.
Overall, a coffee that maintains big body but does not sacrifice clarity of the top notes. Very distinct beans, grown right here in our own backyard.

Smooth full bodied cup
A delicate, temperamental bean that when brewed with care makes a delicious, full bodied cup with fragrant notes of earth and chocolate that leaves a touch of liquid smoke on the tongue.
But the bean is not forgiving, if water temp is not just right or the ratio of bean to water not in balance the flavor evaporates quickly leaving a brew has more in common with a strong black tea than a cup of traditional coffee.
Overall this is an excellent bean that makes a tasty cup. Of the bean's I have tried, I think this is closest to a blend of Yemen and Puerto Rico. But beware, if takes some experimentation to brew the best cup.

Taste very different from the other beans. I'm not good in words but will definitely look out for more exciting beans from them.
