I love this coffee. It’s my default coffee and I drink it every day. Thanks to bean shipper I can get a huge 1kg packet at a good price.

Too bitter and the taste was too strong plus smells bit funky. Not our cup of Joe!

The coffee has the aroma and taste of coffee that is reminiscent of old coffee shops.

I can see some love and hate for this coffee. But I love it! As an espresso, had unique bitter sweet flavour. Can taste berry in it. With milk, it became more awesome!

Followed the recommended brewing instructions and it hit it right to my tastebuds at once! Taking it first thing in the morning certainly gives a *strong* start to the day!

The morning coffee
Cofferis very bold and rich. The coffee tasted perfectly after beanshipper advised to lower down the brewing temperature. My regular coffee for breaking fast during Ramadhan.

2nd tried on local blend Liberica coffee, still didn't like the taste. Tried all the way brew it and in the end, left some of the beans in trash. Worst of all, the delivery guy need me drive miles away to collect it. Lesson learned, never returned.

Have you ever try kopi rengit? Yes, it taste totally the same
I've tasted kopi rengit, Batu Pahat before. Yes it taste the same as my liberica. Let just say, the fancier, fresher version of rengit coffee. And of course it come with fancy price as well. I guess i'll stick with Arabica from now on.

Not my taste
Nothing against the coffee or the company, just not my taste. Quite different from what I am used to. Great service though btw

Really Good Coffee
Full-bodied and rich. A good cuppa to start your day with if you like your coffee strong and robust. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.

As expected!
Good strong taste of local coffee. I've been using my Tiamo flask with a slow pour, steeped for around 3 minutes. The oils are still apparent, which is to my liking.

Pungent smell, strong as its taste
The beans take some getting used to: they smell sourish but once brewed are pretty satisfying. Not for the faint-hearted but great for those who like their coffee dark roasted and strong

Liberica Dark Roast
I’ve tried other Liberica Roasts, and by far this is the most heavy and robust I have ever tasted. Overpowering and too pungent when made with a MOKA pot. However, the smoothness is brought out when prepared via V60. Not for the faint hearted, and more satiable for those who like a full bodied cuppa.
