The Pyxis has three built-in weighing modes for weighing only, a dual display mode, and an auto start mode that starts the timer as soon as your espresso hits the cup. This useful feature is great for weighing your dose and pulling your espresso with precise measurements every time. A feature that we found most impressive was the mobile app compatibility. The Pyxis connects via bluetooth to Acaia’s free apps including Updater, Brewguide, Brewmaster, Brewbar, and Coffee, for an enhanced brewing experience.
The Pyxis can respond to weight as light as a feather--starting from 0.01 grams--and measure up to 500 grams. It is the highest-resolution weighing scale in Acaia’s catalogue.
The scale receives periodic firmware updates, which are available through our free Acaia Updater app.
