About this coffee :

Pura Cepa was conceptualised by Latorre & Dutch as a project for innovation in green coffee at origin. Piloted in October 2016 in the region of Cañasgordas, Antioquia, Colombia, where they co-own a mill, they have developed this project to revolutionise the current processing techniques available to farmers at origin, and to deliver many benefits for the sustainability of the industry as a whole.

For this Awa' Lot #2, coffee cherries from the neighbouring villages are bought from the farmers and brought for processing in Cañas Gordas mill, and the results have been more than fascinating, to say the least. 

This coffee has good stone fruit and grape qualities, almost jammy like medium bodied mouthfeel. Clean and smooth tasting coffee!
