About this coffee:

Finca Las Marias has grown at a staggering 2,000 MASL (meters above sea level; that’s over 6,500 feet), this particular Pink Bourbon’s delicate, fruity profile thrives in the high-altitude mountainous environment of Finca Las Marias.

Pink Bourbon is a hybrid and there is definitely Bourbon in it, but there's also definitely some of the Colombia variety, which is derived from a hybrid of Catimor, Caturra, and other varietals.

With Pink Bourbon having its roots tied to the varietal Catimor – a varietal that was created by integrating Robusta  - a coffee species known for a lower quality taste, but a more resilient plant, it’s quite surprising to hear the Ethiopian-like profile .

This coffee has a delicate fruitiness of apple, prune & peach, finishing with a chocolate sweet aftertaste. Soothing & smooth cuppa that makes a calming afternoon or evening cuppa.
