About this coffee :

Marvin Monge Valverde's farm was an inheritance from his Grandfather, Sacarias Valverde. Nowadays Marvin and his son are the ones who take care of their farm (Nacientes). They consider themselves "coffee lovers' and look forward to continuing transmitting the coffee activity and the love for their land to future generations.

Palmichal Micro-Mill is a new project that started this harvest 2015-2016 with 30 farmers. It is located in Palmichal and processes coffees from: Palmichal, Puriscal, Tarrazu, Frailes. Palmichal goal is to find farmers with unique coffees, perform a flawless milling process, and deliver coffee to quality-conscious importers and micro-roasters. 

This project allows processing small batches by using different drying methods such as honey and naturals. The coffees they process here come from individual small farmers and the premiums we pay goes back to the farmer. 

This is a super fruit forward coffee. Juicy good body and complex notes of cherries and peach, pair with lovely sweetness of nectarine. It also makes a jammy espresso, we love it as long black that gets to enjoy all fruitiness in the cup.
