About Reframe Coffee Roasters:

About this coffee :

The coffee growing region of Guji once was included in the Sidama designation, but in the year 2015 was recognized and separated as a distinct zone by the ECX *Ethiopia Commodity Exchange.

The merit for this new classification lies in the unique high quality of coffees from Guji, which include the woreda of Oddo Shakiso, Addola Redi, Uraga, Kercha, and Bule Hora. Larger private farms are becoming more commonplace in Shakiso, which also happens to be a hotbed of mining for precious metals.

The cherries are pulped & ferment overnight, then it's dried in the sun on African beds for about 7-14 days. During the day, the cherries have to be turned over permanently to ensure an even drying process. The cherries are covered during the day from 12 to 3pm to protect them from the hot sun as well as at night to protect them from rain.

This washed Ethiopia has the signature juiciness of grape & apple, finish with peach tea sweet aftertaste. A classic that makes an enjoyable hot afternoon coffee.
