About this coffee:

Ethiopia may be the birthplace of coffee, but is it a complex country when it comes to regions and identification. Coffee can be identified in various ways, including region, zone, processing mill or simply by a local name.

Located in the Guji Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has an elevation of 1900 meters above sea level. It lies within the Sidamo region. Coffees from this region typically have strong berry aromatics with orange acidity and caramel chocolate sweetness.

Coffee producers deliver their ripe cherries to the Testi Trading coffee mill station where the cherries are sorted and dried.

The natural process of this coffee allows the bean to have a long contact time with the fruit, as the cherry is dried for 15-18 days. This gives the coffee its sweet, fruit flavour that many of us have come to recognise, and love.

This coffee exhibits the classic flavour profile of Ethiopia that we all love. Refreshing fruitiness of blueberries and lovely orange citrusy sweetness, finish with a juicy sweet aftertaste. A wonderful after lunch cuppa to keep the day going.
