About this coffee :
Finca El Morito is located in Mataquescuintla, Jalapa in Santa Rosa, Guatemala. A group of small producers created by Mr Jose Roberto Monterroso was created 20 years ago, with continuous growth year after year. Today, El Morito consists of more than 450 members.
El Morito offers a wide range of high-quality coffees, from Fancy SHBs of the Jalapa region up to small micro-lots from selected areas of group members, washed and natural processed. Coffees from El Morito are Catuai, Pache San Ramon, Bourbon and Mundo Novo and grown at 1,400-2,000 meters.
Continuous improvement of their qualities brought them great success during the last years in the Cup of Excellence, winning 2nd place in 2013 and both 3rd and 11th place in 2014.
Morito is the touchstone of quality - rich and piquant body, with hints of toffee & toasted walnut. An exquisite choice of coffee to keep your day energetic & lively all day long.
