About this coffee :
此產區位於得天獨厚的高海拔並富有火山沃土,以及溫和的氣候,使得盧安達西部省的好咖啡在近兩三年迅速受到矚目。曾榮獲生豆評鑑卓越盃(COE)冠軍的穆修伊處理廠雖然規模不大,其曾獲得國外有機自然農法認證!
為產出品質好、產量豐的咖啡豆,處理廠鼓勵咖啡小農,教導農民了解土壤、蟲害及疾病防範,使咖啡農了解肥料及殺蟲劑之應用以及其對咖啡農作之影響、環境保護等,用心致力於永續生產理念。 而本批次的咖啡豆主要由坐落於盧安達西部省的蒙榭哈處理廠 (Mashesha CWS) 與穆修伊處理廠 (Mushonyi CWS) 協力處理!
The Nyamasheke district has the highest concentration of washing stations in all of Rwanda. The region lies along the Kivu Lake where growing conditions are optimal. Good altitude, great soil, favourable rainfall — basically everything to produce the best coffees — can be found here.
Mashesha CWS is located in the Karambi sector in the Nyamasheke district, Western province and borders Nyungwe Forest National Park. It was built in 2016 and is, to date, the sole station that our partner, Rwacof, has built from the ground up rather than acquired and improved.
The altitude in the region starts at 1,700 and extends up to 2,000 metres above sea level, making the farms delivering to Karambi some of the highest in Rwanda.
This coffee is super juicy, with orange juice & lovely maple syrup sweetness, finish with hints of roasted nuts on the aftertaste. A very sweet coffee perfect for a morning cuppa.
