About this coffee:

My Liberica is the one and only specialty Liberica coffee bean producer in Malaysia. The Liew family takes full control from farm to cup, with their own coffee plantation, processing mill, roastery and an in house cafe that serves specialty Liberica coffee in Johor Bahru.

In 2021, My Liberica worked with Hugh Kelly, Australia Barista Champion from Ona Coffee, by using Liberica coffee for the first time ever in the history of the World Barista Championship. Hugh used the Liberica 50/50 blend with Eugenoides for his milk coffee presentation & won third place in World Barista Championship in Milan. Congratulations to the My Liberica & Ona Coffee Team!

After the competition, Jason was inspired & took the Liberica coffee cherry processing technology a leap forward. Using the anaerobic processing techniques he learned, the World Champion Inspiration was born. 

This Liberica coffee is no ordinary coffee, it's a coffee that you have never tasted before. With super intense aromatics that are as vibrant as slicing open a fresh tropical fruit and banana sweetness & hints of lavender blossom, finish with a rum winey twist on the aftertaste. You'll get a big wow on the first sip!

20g of coffee to 250ml of water
2 minutes, 95ºc brewing temperature
