What do you mean by 'freshly roasted coffee beans'?
By our definition, it means coffee beans that have roasted not more than 4-5 weeks past roast date. That's where coffee still tastes delicious with great aromatics!
When will you ship my coffee?
It usually takes 1-2 business days for us to ship your coffee beans. For roast to order coffees (ie. 1kg Pack and World's Best Coffee), it takes 3-5 business days for us to arrange your shipment.
For orders within Malaysia, we ship via Store & Send fulfilment service. You can see more about shipping in our Shipping Guide.
What are Single Origin and Blend?
Single origin is coffee beans originated from a specific country, region or farm. It delivers a taste profile unique to the origin.
The blend is a mixture of few single origins with a specific ratio. It delivers a balanced taste profile designed by our coffee roasters.
What are Espresso Roast and Filter Roast?
Espresso roast coffee beans are roasted for espresso coffee. The pressured espresso brewing is different from all other brewing methods. Our coffee roasters roast their coffee bean at different roast profiles to best suit espresso brewing method.
Filter roast coffee beans are for any other brewing methods than espresso.
You can brew espresso roast coffee on any filter brew, you'll get a medium to full-bodied coffee. However, we do not recommend filter roast coffee on espresso. Lighter roast coffee is best to brew on a filter.
Could you grind coffee beans for me?
I'm very sorry, we can't. Like cut apple, ground coffee goes stale within minutes. Your coffee will start tasting bad from day 2 onwards if you grind the whole bag of beans.
You can check out the Ground Pack. It's single serve ground coffee in individual sachet, sealed with our proprietary method for maximum freshness. It's the ultimate solution if you don't have a grinder. Check it out!
For sure, we highly recommend you to have a coffee grinder. Whole beans best preserve the delicious aromatics, nothing beats freshly ground coffee!
Why is my coffee tasting sour?
Sourness is a sign of under extraction, most probably the grind size is too coarse or brew with low brewing temperature (especially light & medium roast coffee). You can try to grind finer and brew with high brew temperature. This will encourage extraction and reduce the sourness, also makes coffee taste much sweeter!
Why is my coffee tasting bitter?
Bitterness is a sign of over extraction, hence you can try to grind coffee beans to coarser grind size. If you brew dark roast coffee, go for lower brewing temperature to avoid the burned bitter notes.
