About this coffee :
Tuang Coffee presents only the best Flores Manggarai beans. The coffee trees are grown organic in 1400-1700 masl in the east side of the Manggarai Region. Manggarai is considered the most fertile area on Flores Island. Flores Island is located in East Nusa Tenggara Province of Indonesia. The coffee trees are mostly surrounded by taro, yum and banana trees. They control and process all the quality by their own hands to make sure only the best coffee is delivered to the people.
In Flores-Manggarai, Tuang separates the coffee from its varietal, processing method, even from the specific village and farmers, hence every bag that you receive has its narrowest origin for a specific roasting and cupping experience. Tuang Coffee also keeps improving its flavour by experimenting with fermentation variables.
This coffee is vibrant & packed full of layering tropical fruity flavour notes. You'll get the vibrancy of pineapple on the first sip & tropical fruit juicy mouthfeel, finished with hint of chocolate cookies on the aftertaste, totally out of the world.
About Kamala:
"Kamala” means lotus as well as pale red in Sanskrit. This is our take on what Indonesian coffees could be under experimental yet directed post-harvest techniques. Kamala offers different arrays of fruity, boozy and out-of-this-world flavours! We achieved this through the use of mostly anaerobic natural techniques as well as trial-based inoculants.
About Catur Coffee Company:
Founded by Indonesian barista champion Mikael Jasin, Catur Coffee's vision is to be Agents of Change in the Indonesian coffee industry, serving as a platform for Indonesian coffee on the global stage. They take pride in producing and sourcing consistent coffee at a great price point, building value using innovative processing techniques, working with microbiologists to produce proprietary fermentation precursor inoculants and harvest maximization techniques. Catur is proud to showcase the change they have helped make in the Indonesian coffee industry and is excited to share it with the world.
