About this coffee :
The large subcontinent of India has a unique coffee story far different from any other origin. India is the world’s sixth-largest coffee producer, behind Brazil, Vietnam, Indonesia, Colombia, and Honduras. The country exports around 70 percent of production – with exports of greens roughly split between 30 percent Arabica and 70 percent Robusta.
This coffee was processed with black honey process, where mucilage is left as close to intact as possible & beans are dried on a raised bed in fully shaded conditions. Beans are not moved at all on the first day and are then raked once a day; drying time can take up to three weeks.
As a result, the sweetness of this coffee makes a superb morning espresso. You'll get a nice gula melaka sweetness & nutty notes of pine nuts. Perfect to enjoy as espresso and long black, it also makes a delightful flat white.
