About this coffee :

This single-origin Liberica is from Bagan in the district of Batu Pahat. The coffee was honey-processed resulting in a clean top-end product. The cherry skin is removed after picking and the beans in parchment are sundried under the greenhouse for 2-3 weeks. This gives a lovely soothing sweetness & layering cuppa. All House of Kendal beans are pesticide & herbicide-free.

This liberica coffee expresses a multi-layering cup, with the delightful sweetness of honey, fruitiness of nectarine & peach, and hints of walnut on the aftertaste. A very fruity & delightful coffee that goes well for both espresso & filter

About House of Kendal:

The coastal district of Batu Pahat is a few degrees above the equator. The soil is clay with peat as the topsoil. The elevation is not more than 15 metres above MSL. Although Liberica was grown widely in the 1980's it lost out to Oil Palm. House of Kendal has been reviving abandoned farms, creating a sustainable and viable community of growers.
