The cup maths

  1. One cup is 15g of coffee. That's the dose we count with.

  2. A 300g bag is 20 cups. Shipper Blend at RM39 is RM1.95 a cup.

  3. A 1kg bag is 66 cups. Shipper Blend at RM119 is RM1.80 a cup.

  4. A café latte in KL is RM12 to RM18. Five a week is RM60 to RM90. The same five at home, under RM10.

  5. Espresso recipes stay at 18g in, 36g out; the per-cup line above is the 15g filter dose.

How we count a cup

Why 15g

15g of beans to about 240ml of water makes one mug of filter coffee. Every per-cup price we show is counted at that dose.

Espresso counts differently

A double shot takes 18g in and 36g out, so a 300g bag makes about 16 doubles.

Bigger bag, cheaper cup

A kilo costs less per cup than any 300g option. Buy the size you'll finish inside the window: at two cups a day, a kilo lasts about a month.
