About This Coffee
Long Banga is a remote highland village in the Marudi District of Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. Grown at around 500 metres and honey processed — dried with some of its sweet fruit mucilage still on the bean — this lot develops the syrupy body and maple-like sweetness that set it apart from typical lowland Liberica.
It is produced through the Sarawak Liberica Refinement Project, an Earthling Coffee initiative that helps local growers improve Liberica and Excelsa quality — from cultivation and disease management to processing and a fair, sustainable purchasing programme for Sarawak farmers.
