Finca Los Alpes sits in the Dipilto mountains near Nicaragua's border with Honduras. The Valladárez family grow several varieties, and their Geisha trees are the youngest — producing a first harvest in 2023. Under Olman's stewardship the farm took first place in the Cup of Excellence in both 2023 and 2024 with a natural Geisha.
Beyond coffee, the family sponsors public health campaigns and community events, working to a philosophy centred on sustainability and a familial atmosphere where everyone involved, from collaborators to consumers, enjoys the fruits of their labour.

How fresh is the coffee when it arrives?+
This lot is roasted by Proud Mary on the date shown beside the size, and ships about one week after roasting — right as the beans enter their 2-to-3-week peak. Domestic orders typically arrive 1–3 business days after dispatch.
When is the coffee at its best?+
Beans need about 5 to 7 days to degas, then hold their peak from 7 to 30 days after the roast date printed on the bag. Keep the bag sealed, somewhere dark and room-temperature — never in the fridge.
Whole bean or ground?+
Whole bean stays fresh longest, so pick that if you have a grinder. If you don't, choose the grind that matches your brewer and we grind it right after roasting.

Free shipping from RM80 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM150 in East Malaysia. We also ship to Singapore (free from RM200), Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, the UK and most of Europe — rates calculated at checkout.
