    About:

Minas Gerais’s Granja São Francisco and Rwanda’s Western Province’s Karora come together for a new version of The Filter Blend, where creamy texture meets pear and fig flavors. Kick back with this edition’s harmonious balance of sweetness and fruitiness.

Granja São Francisco is grown in Brazil’s Mantiqueira de Minas by Otaviano Ribeiro Ceglia and his family, who’ve been cultivating coffee since the 1930s. The Ceglia family’s deep knowledge of the land, combined with their Pulped Natural processing, results in a coffee that’s both elegant and comforting. Otaviano’s commitment to sustainability and quality ensures Granja São Francisco continues to thrive as a family-run farm.

Karora comes from Rwanda’s Western Province, where Nyamurinda Coffee Growers Ltd., a women-led business founded by sisters Francine Nyiramana and Immaculée Mukamana, manages both their family farm and Karora Washing Station. After the 1994 genocide, the sisters returned to their family’s land in Nyamagabe District and built Nyamurinda Hills farm. They later expanded to operate Karora Washing Station, processing cherries from a cooperative of over 1,000 farmers, two-thirds of whom are women. Nyamurinda’s approach focuses on the needs of women in these communities.
